Four held for disrespect of Israel’s flag
An officer from JJ Marg police station said, “The four accused had pasted stickers of Israel’s flag on the road at Bhendi Bazar junction on Tuesday night. The four deliberately insulted the flag by stamping on them with their feet. They even burnt them.”

The JJ Marg police early on Wednesday arrested four persons for allegedly sticking the sticker of Israel’s flag on roads and stamping on them at Bhindi Bazar Junction in south Mumbai.
The police said the four persons were arrested and subsequently granted bail.
An officer from JJ Marg police station said, “The four accused had pasted stickers of Israel’s flag on the road at Bhendi Bazar junction on Tuesday night. The four deliberately insulted the flag by stamping on them with their feet. They even burnt them.”
The police further added the group of accused made a video of the act and circulated them. However, as soon as the local police were informed, a team was sent to the spot and the four accused were taken in custody. A case was registered and they were placed under arrest.
