Factory owner has no details of staffer wanted in murder

After questioning some employees of the garment unit the police came to know that Nagesh hails from Allahabad. “Some of them seem to remember that Nagesh had referred to Allahabad being his native place but beyond that we have not gathered anything. We are still in the process of taking statements of the other employees of the unit in the hope that they might remember something about Nagesh,” said an investigator.

Manisha Govekar,19,went missing on Sunday night from her house at Kamgar Nagar in NM Joshi Marg area. After she did not return till late in the night the locals formed search parties but forgot to check the garment factory where she worked. On Monday morning a missing persons’ complaint was registered at the NM Joshi Marg police station. When the workers of the garment unit,located a few metres from the Govekar residence,reported for work on Monday they found the door of Nagesh’s room locked and Nagesh missing. They finally broke open the door and found Manisha’s body.
