Drug haul at Dadar station

The Mumbai Central Railway police arrested a person and detained three minors at Dadar railway station for allegedly carrying ganja.

The Mumbai Central Railway police arrested a person and detained three minors at Dadar railway station on Friday for allegedly carrying ganja. The police claimed to have recovered 84 kg ganja worth more than Rs 1.68 lakh from them.

Acting on a tip-off,the police nabbed the four persons carrying ganja. One of them has been identified as Chandan Naik (25) while the others are juveniles.

“The four are natives of Behrampore in Orissa and had come to Dadar by Konark Express. They were on their way to Surat where they had to deliver the consignment to a person,but before boarding the train they were arrested,” said a police officer attached to the Mumbai Central Railway police station.
