A day after a 35-year-old doctor allegedly hanged herself in Dadar, the Shivaji Park police have registered a case of harassment against her husband Kiran and in-laws. Sheetal Patil,a homeopathy doctor, had committed suicide on Sunday after an alleged argument with her mother-in-law.
The police said a case of harassment was registered after Patils parents approached them.

Following this, the police registered a case under Sections 304 (B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Inamdar added that the police have filed an FIR and the accused will be arrested soon.
We have registered an FIR in the case. Patils parents came from Pune and told us that she was being harassed for dowry. We will arrest her husband and in-laws soon, said Inamdar.
On Sunday afternoon, the police rushed to Patils residence after receiving a call from her mother-in-law. While the police was trying to sort out the matter between the two,Patil walked off angrily and hanged herself in her room. The police were present in the house at the time of the incident.
