After a woman, 40, killed herself, her former colleague has been booked in an abetment to suicide case, police said. The woman, who worked as a dietician in a government hospital in Parel, was allegedly upset over a false promise of marriage by the man, her family said. During the investigation, the police learned the accused was already married. He allegedly promised to marry the woman and showed her fake divorce papers. On March 9, police said, Bhakti Tulaskar killed herself at her flat. Her family approached the Navghar Police on Tuesday. Police filed a case under Section 306 (abetment of suicide) Code of IPC.
