Cops break up Priyanka party

Versova police in the wee hours of Friday intervened to stop a party at movie star Priyanka Chopra’s Seven Bungalows residence. According to the police,a complaint had been filed with the police control room alleging that loud music was being played at the actor’s flat. The police arrested one Raja Bashir Muhammad for playing the music. He was charged with playing the music without the permission of the police. Muhammad was released on bail later.

“The police reached Priyanka’s residence at Raj Classic in Seven Bungalows at 2:30 am and found Muhammad playing the music,” said Senior Police Inspector S Nalavade of the Versova police station. “Muhammad,who is a DJ and singer,was charged with playing music without prior police permission. He was released on bail,” said Nalavade. Asked if liquor was served at the party,he said,“No. It was just a get together.”
