Cloudy sky in Mumbai over next 24 hours

According to the IMD, Cyclone Kyarr is moving westward and is expected to weaken into a deep depression over the next 48 hours.

The skies over Mumbai are likely to be cloudy with the possibility of thunder, lightning and slight rain over the next 24 hours, the IMD said in a statement on Thursday. After that, the city is likely to witness cloudy skies but without rainfall over the following days.

The maximum temperature in Mumbai on Thursday was 36 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to drop by one degree and come down to 35 degrees Celsius on Friday and further down to 34 degrees Celsius on Saturday. According to the IMD, Cyclone Kyarr is moving westward and is expected to weaken into a deep depression over the next 48 hours.

Since October 1, Colaba has received 75 mm rainfall while Santacruz has received 103.2 mm rainfall. The maximum temperature in Colaba was 35.2 degrees Celsius, which was a degree lower than Santacruz at 36.4 degrees Celsius.
