Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday said that voting for bow and arrow, his party’s symbol, signifies support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and added that bow and arrow is also the symbol of Lord Ram.
Shinde was speaking at an election rally in Umarkhed, where he led a bike rally while campaigning for Shiv Sena’s Ramtek candidate Raju Parwe.
The rally, held on the last day of campaigning for the first phase of the elections, drew a large crowd of Mahayuti supporters.
During the rally, Shinde personally rode a motorcycle.
Addressing supporters during the rally, Shinde said, “Each of your vote is crucial for the country’s development. Voting for Mahayuti candidate Raju Parwe signifies supporting the nation’s progress, while voting for the bow and arrow signifies supporting Narendra Modi. Bow and arrow is the symbol of Lord Ram. This is the choice you must make. On April 19, press the button for the bow and arrow, and ensure Raju Parwe’s victory.”
Criticising the Opposition parties, the CM said, “They lack a flag and agenda, and they focus solely on commission and corruption. In contrast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi prioritises the nation. The accomplishments of Modi in the last decade are in stark contrast to those by the Congress over 50 to 60 years.”
