Bombay Gym in thrilling draw

Staring at a humiliating defeat at 76 for 8,Bombay Gymkhana forced a thrilling draw against Shivaji Park Gymkhana,in the Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund Under-14 Cricket Tournament,organized by Bombay Gymkhana,on Friday.

Resuming at their overnight 170 for 9,at the Bombay Gymkhana,after recovering from 30 for 5 on day one,Shivaji Park Gymkhana were steered to a respectable 207 all out with Ganesh Dethe and Jeet Shah adding 37 valuable runs for the last wicket in their first innings,on the second and concluding day of the second round of the competition.

Former champions Total Vengsarkar Academy forced a draw against defending champions MIG Cricket Club to garner 18 points in Group A,the same as MIG. PJ Hindu Gymkhana are 16 points,while Police Gymkhana have 10 points.
