“Traffic police constables need to be given power to take action, offline and not just online. Along with the cases of wrong side driving, many cities like Mumbai and Pune have large scale infrastructure works going on. The police/ municipal corporations need to have flying squads to check on the barricades of these works and whether the agency has done it properly for human safety to avoid accidents. I hope that @MumbaiPolice traffic Dept and likewise for other cities, get to physically stop and penalise wrong side driving, and not just via apps and online mechanisms,” Aaditya said in a tweet.

Rajalakshmi Ramkrishnan, a Dadar resident and CEO of Altruist Technologies, died in an accident while on her morning run near Worli Dairy on Sunday.
