Vikhe-Patil said the government wanted to have global positioning system (GPS) in black-and-yellow taxis. “The taxi drivers may not have to spend on it. We are looking for private partners in this project. A private tours and travels company wants to adopt 500 black-and-yellow taxis. They will install the GPS equipment.”
