NEARLY 16 gelatin sticks and 17 detonators were found on the shore of a creek at Reti Bandar near Mumbra on Tuesday afternoon. A vigilance team attached to the collector office went to Diva creek to take action against those indulging in illegal sand mining. They recovered two barges there. In one barge, there were 16 gelatin sticks, while the other one had 17 detonators, said an officer. Preliminary probe indicated that the explosives maybe used for sand mining, said the official.
