Two undertrials fled from the Moga court complex on Friday afternoon. The undertrials were brought from Ludhiana Central Jail to Moga for a case hearing. It is learnt that one of them pushed Havaldaar Mohan Lal and Constable Hira Singh who accompanied them to the court and made a run. The two have been identified as Paramjit Singh alias Pamma and his brother Sarabjit Singh alias Sarba. They had been arrested in September last year with 50 bags of poppy husk and were facing charges under the NDPS Act. S-I Kikkar Singh said,We have booked both the policemen and the other two accused. The hunt for the undertrials is on.
