Three more members of Chotta Lalla gang arrested

The police recovered two country-made weapons,bullets and a sword from them. The accused have been identified as Suraj Parkash Sharma,Deepak Sidhu alias Ghuggi and Ashok Kumar.

Addressing a press conference,Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Nilambari Vijay Jagdale said that incharge of Jagatpuri police post Harjeet Singh nabbed the accused.

During interrogation,the accused said they were going to loot a petrol pump or some businessman.

The ADCP said the accused used to extort money from city businessmen. Last month too,the accused fired outside the house of a government employee. Two other members of the group identified as Balwinder Singh alias Raju Sapp and Sonu Bolt are absconding. The police registered a case under sections 399 and 402 of the IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act.
