Results of maths,science Olympiad declared

Brilliantzone International Olympiad of Mathematics and Science- 2012-13 from classes I to XII was organised at Tagore Public School,Aggar Nagar,in November 2012 in which about 87 students participated in maths and 38 students in science. As per results declared on Friday,Tanshi,Rishabh Gupta,Kashish of class X and XI have won cash prizes of Rs 20,000,Rs 3,000 and trophy and Rs 2,000 and a mini-computer and trophy respectively. The school bagged six gold,five silver,three bronze medals.

Ranjodh Singh’s book on quotes released

The Tagore Literary Society of the Department of English of Ramgarhia Girls College organised a book release function on Thursday. The book entitled Oi@rs,penned by city-based Ranjodh Singh,was released by Deputy Commissioner Rahul Tiwari. The book is a bouquet of inspirational quotes. Tiwari said such pearls of wisdom,as had been strung into this book,touch the chords of the readers’ hearts and enable them to get a fresh perception of life.
