The chairman of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Daljeet Singh Sidhu has called up the meeting of private and unaided schools of Punjab on Wednesday to discuss the issue of restructuring of school fee.
According to Rajinder Sharma,President of Association of PSEB Affiliated Schools,Punjab,The meeting has been called to streamline the system of fee as some unaided and private schools have different fee structures for urban,semi urban and rural areas. The government wants that we should accommodate 25 per cent poor students with fee concession,but it is not possible as the government does not give any aid to private schools.
Sharma further said all the unaided and private schools have already been accommodating up to 5 per cent students with fee concession.
