Racial discrimination with Indians in the foreign lands has been highlighted by Punjabi singer and bhangra artiste Mehsopuria in his new album Fearless. He announced the launch of the album at Westend Mall today. Talking about his album, the singer said,I have been born and brought up in UK and I have heard the racial discrimination tales from my grandfather and father. Even I also experienced it myself. So I have highlighted everything in one song. Away from the country people are going on earn money but they are facing humiliation as well. Mehsopuria,in chaste Punjabi, said people in Punjab are running away from their mother tongue Punjabi and they feel proud that they cannot speak in Punjabi. He said,People who are away from Punjab are loving their culture while those who are living here are following the West. So we realise the importance once we are away and the same was with me,I learnt Punjabi because I was away from my country. I was sent to a gurdwara to learn this language which today has become the most powerful tool for me.
