Greenline has bagged the city’s advertisement rights for Rs 8.05 crore for a period of four years. This means the company will now manage 200 unipoles,38 overhead signage boards, four foot over bridges, pillars under elevated roads, six roundabouts,82 bus shelters,12 garbage dumping sites and thousands of kiosks on streetlights across the city. The tenders for these sites were floated in the last week of January and Greenline had given the highest bid of Rs 5.5 crore. However, another company Traffic Media had challenged the tender process and moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

In the court of J S Kher, both parties were asked to quote rates for various sites. While Traffic Media quoted Rs 8 crore,Greenline quoted Rs 8.05 crore.
