District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana,Rahul Tiwari,said that the voter list of Ludhiana has been published on Monday. Anybody who wants to inspect or scrutinise the voter list may see them at Election Tehsildar Ludhiana or at the offices of concerned Returning Officers (ROs) of concerned Assembly constituencies, he added. He said that the last date for receiving any claims and objections for entering new votes or deleting old votes in the office of concerned ROs is January 4. After the date no claims or objections will be entertained, he added. Rahul Tiwari informed,There is a special request to all the persons interested in contesting forthcoming Vidhan Sabha Election to ensure that votes in their constituencies are made. If someone is interested in contesting the elections and is a resident of Ludhiana and finds that his name is not entered in the published voter lists may apply for making his/her vote to concerned officers.
