The police have been successful in nabbing Sonu Dagar alias Bhundu,a dreaded criminal. The police claim the arrest will help solve around 30 cases of loot,theft and snatching. Dagar,as per ADCP Nilmabari Jagdale,was arrested during a joint operation undertaken by police of Division Number 2 and CIA zone number 1 on Sunday. He was arrested from near the Civil Hospital,and the police found 800 gms of synthetic drug from him. The police claim that Sonu told them that he owned an illegal automatic gun which they recovered from his home. The police also found a pistol and live cartridges from Dagar,who is a resident of Field Ganj. The police claim Sonu along with members of the Mohini Gang used to operate in areas like Dhurri Line,Field Ganj,Amarpura,Islam Ganj and Railway Station. Sonu and his gang had even looted some gamblers in the Subhani Building area recently.
