Bal Mela in memory of Amrita on May 2

In remembrance of Amrita Chaudhary,The Indian Express Principal Correspondent who died in a road accident in October 2012,a children’s mela will be held on May 2 at Lion’s Bhawan,Udham Singh Nagar,Ludhiana.

The mela is for students of classes 1 to 12 of government schools and interested students can register themselves at 9 am on the same day at the venue.

The aim of the mela is to inculcate confidence in students,make them aware of their hidden skills and to bring forth the artist in them. It will focus on art and paintings.
