Wasim stars in Jubilee Academy win

A five wicket haul by Wasim Khan and an unbeaten 59 run knock by Ajay Singh paved the way for a comprehensive 137 runs victory for Jubilee Academy in their league match of the 1st Eram Cup cricket tournament at Northern Railway Stadium,Lucknow on Wednesday.

Batting first after winning the toss,Jubilee Academy scored 235 runs losing seven wickets in the given 30 overs. Ajay Singh (59 not out),Wasim Hussain (43),Gulrez Haider (33) and Hasan Akhtar (34) batted well for the team.

Ankit Yadav claimed three wickets while NP Singh and Shivam Shukla took two wickets each.

In reply,Avadh Sky Academy was all out at a total of 98 runs in 12.3 overs. Besides,Arjun Kumar (49),few others could stay at the crease for long due to the devastating bowling spell by Wasim Hussain who claimed five crucial wickets giving away 22 runs. Mustafa Raza took two wickets.
