Lucknow: BJP MP and party's national general secretary Varun Gandhi on Wednesday gave a cheque of Rs 1 lakh as compensation to the family members of former MLA Bhagwati Prasad,who died earlier this month,during his visit to Shrawasti and Bahraich. Woman killed Ballia: A 30-year-old woman was killed allegedly by her husband and in-laws in Sukhpura area,police said Wednesday. The body of Reena Rajbhar was recovered from the bushes and her seven-year-old daughter later told police that she was beaten to death. A case was lodged against her husband Munna,brother-in-law Sudarshan,sister-in-law Jiuti Devi and nephew Raj Kumar on Wednesday. Jiuti and Raj Kumar have been detained,they said.
