U-14 national football team given a warm send-off

The national under-14 girls football team which will be participating in the AFC under-14 girls football festival to be held at Colombo

The national under-14 girls football team which will be participating in the AFC under-14 girls football festival to be held at Colombo,Sri Lanka,was given a warm send-off at SAI sub-centre Lucknow,on Monday. The camp for the same was organised at sub-centre. The competition will be held from March 9 to 14.

Those who attended the national football camp included: Syama Rani,Supriya Kukreet,Nikita Panna,Dalima Chibber,Ansiva Vaz,Navilla Colaco,Velalie Fernandes,Swetlana Flori Falco,Manju,Sanju,Safeera Hassa,Pushpa Kumari,Ashly YM,Mareena Thangsam,Jyosna Mallic,Bisnupriya Mohant,Anima Mallik,S Muthu Selvi,Ruma Debbarma,Bakul Kumari Debbarma,Sarath Ruth Fernandous,Karishma Vazirani; Stand-byes: B Chugh; Tehsin Toliwala,Tiki Patra; Officials: Anita Sarkar,Priya PV,Sonika Sudan.

Prashant,Kirti shine

Prashant Kumar and Kirti Srivastav stood first in the 100m race event in the men’s open and women’s open category,respectively,in the 18th Uttar Pradesh Forest Sports Meet 2011 which commenced at Guru Govind Singh Sports College,Lucknow on Monday.

The Results:1500m race (men’s open category): 1st. Dharmendra Kumar,2nd. Rambali,3rd Shanker Dayal;

High jump (men’s open category): 1st. Sachin Kumar,2nd. Lallan Singh,3rd. Surya Kant Shukla;

100m race (men’s senior veterans): 1st. Harvansh Yadav,2nd Sitaram Patel,3rd. Ram Sunder;

100m race (men’s veterans section): 1st. Bharat Lal,2nd. H Yadav,3rd. Jaipal Singh;
