A 31-year-old man who was working as assistant manager with Indian Oil Corporation reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside his rented house in Aliganj area of Lucknow. Police said the body of Rahul Kumar Singh was found on Sunday morning when Singhs friend Manoj Kumar Gupta reached the house to check his condition after getting a call from Singhs father,who said he was not able to contact his son over the phone. The door was locked from inside and the body was found hanging from the ceiling fan after the door was forcibly opened by Gupta. The body was found hanging with a bed sheet. Police said Singh had been staying at the house since December 2011,and was posted at the IOC office in Vibhuti Khand. Sub-Inspector Shabhu Nath Tiwari said Singhs family members who live in Patna have been informed about the incident. He said there were no external injury marks on the body and no suicide note was found. Tiwari said preliminary inquiry has revealed that Singh was depressed over some family matter. He had got married four months back but his wife was not staying with him,he added.
