Fatehpur victim of cops’ attack dies

His father Lalta Prasad Dixit was burnt alive,whereas Anil suffered more than 90 per cent burns.

After battling for his life for three days,Fatehpur

resident Anil Dixit (30) died in Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) Hospital of Kanpur on late Sunday evening. Anil had suffered major burn injuries after a police team probing an elopement case,along with some locals,allegedly set his house on fire in Chak Kajipur village of Fatehpur on March 10. His father Lalta Prasad Dixit was burnt alive,whereas Anil suffered more than 90 per cent burns.
