The Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta,who is probing the alleged irregularities in the allotment of farmhouses in Noida during the erstwhile BSP government,has sent letters to 153 people,who had applied for buying farmhouses but had their applications rejected,seeking any information or evidence regarding the anomalies in the allotment process that they may have encountered.
Lokayukta N K Mehrotra said his office has sent letters to as many as 92 applicants to whom the farmhouses were not allotted,and asked them to provide any information,pertaining to the allotment,by July 22. He said the office is in the process of sending letters to the remaining applicants,who will have time until July 29 to provide any information that they might.
He said the applicants have been asked to furnish an affidavit while providing any information and also send documents or proof,if they have any.
