Campaigning for the party candidates in Hardoi district,Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Gadkari on Saturday said that the Congress-led UPA government was doing politics with appeasement of terrorists.
In reference of Congress leader Digvijay Singhs recent statement about Batla House encounter,Gadkari said that Congress was playing politics over the sacrifice of police personnel who were killed in the encounter. Gadkari said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should clear whether the encounter was genuine or not. UPA government should clear its stand as Digvijay and Union Home Minister P Chidambaram have given contradictory statements (about the case). Gadkari said that Congress,SP and BSP had nothing to do with growth of Dalits and Muslims and these parties were using them for votes only.
