Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held 204 election events in 61 days – starting with a Prabuddh Sammelan in Mathura on March 27, the state government said on Friday.
These included 169 public meetings, 15 Prabuddh Sammelans and 13 road shows. Adityanath also attended the nomination filing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Lucknow.
The CM campaigned for BJP candidates in all 80 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh and also in 12 states and two union territories, a statement issued by the government said.
Other election campaign events addressed by Adityanath included lawyers’ conferences, women’s conferences, workers’ conferences and Lok Sabha steering committee meetings.
Adityanath also campaigned in UP for 12 Union Ministers, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
