Bounty for Naxal leader hiked

The state government on Thursday increased the reward money on three criminals,including Naxal commander Munna Vishwakarma.

The reward money on Vishwakarma has been hiked to Rs 2 lakh and for Dharmendra alias Lala and Neeraj Singh,the reward will be Rs 1 lakh each.

While Dharmendra and Neeraj are hardened criminals of Bagpat and Jaunpur respectively,Vishwakarma hails from Sonbhadra district and is active in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
