Former Samajwadi Party (SP) general secretary Amar Singh blamed SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav for ignoring the security aspect of other political leaders. Singh,along with MP Jaya Prada,will visit Azamgarh on Sunday to condole the death of former MLA Sarvesh Singh alias Seepu Singh. Mulayam is security-conscious about himself but not about others. What should I say about others when even I am not given police protection in Uttar Pradesh despite being a Z-plus protectee, Singh told The Sunday Express. He claimed that the SP government does not provide any police cover at his houses in Ghaziabad and Lucknow. Due to this,CISF has been deputed at my house. Even Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma,who also has Z-plus security cover,is not provided any security. BJP-ruled states also provide me protection,but not the SP government, said Singh,the friend-turned-foe of Mulayam. I am visiting Azamgarh to condole the death of the former MLA,who was brutally murdered. There is no politics in it as I had family relations with late Ram Pyare Singh,father of the deceased MLA, he said. Singh,who also hails from Azamgarh,said that law and order situation is deteriorating in Akhilesh Yadavs regime. Who am I to comment when his father openly admits that things would have improved if he was the CM, he said.
