33-year-old man found dead at house of SP MLA’s son

A 33-year-old man was found dead at a house owned by Samajwadi Party MLA Rameshwar Yadav’s son Subodh in Lucknow’s Indira Nagar area Thursday evening. Police said the deceased was identified as Bhairav Dutt Joshi,a resident of Champawat area of Uttarakhand,with the help of a voter card found on him.

Additional SP (Trans-Gomti) Habibul Hasan said Joshi had been working as a cook at a restaurant in Charbagh and had gone to attend a marriage of his relative in Indira Nagar Tuesday night.

Hasan said it appears that Joshi had tried to enter the house by climbing a tree and fell. He sustained injuries in his head and face.”

Police said the house is owned by Subodh but he does not reside there. They added said the body was found by the house caretaker who then informed Subodh,who lives at his Gomti Nagar residence in Lucknow. Subodh is a lawyer and his father is an MLA from Aliganj seat of Etah district.
