Bengal: 8-year-old boy gets entangled in swing rope, dies while undergoing treatment

On Monday afternoon, when family members rushed to his aid, they discovered him unconscious.

WAGAH borderAfter being kept at an undisclosed location for some time, Hamida was left to fend for herself in Hyderabad, a major city in the Sindh province.

An 8-year-old boy fell unconscious after getting entangled in the rope of a swing tied to a tree in front of his house on Monday. On Tuesday, he succumbed while undergoing treatment at the Ranaghat Sub-District Hospital in West Bengal.

The child has been identified as Debjyoti Pal.

On Monday afternoon, when family members rushed to his aid, they discovered him unconscious. He was immediately rushed to the Ranaghat Sub-District Hospital.

Debjyoti was the only child of Biswajit Pal, a resident of Sabujpalli in the Shyamnagar village panchayat area of Ranaghat-2 block.

Biswajit, who owns a grocery store, was at his shop at the time of the incident. The grieving mother said, “I don’t understand what happened.” His wife, inconsolable, could only weep, “What will we live with?” she said.
