TMC’s only motive is to throw us out,says Cong

Chhatra Parishad (CP),the students’ wing of state Congress,too,celebrated its 59th Foundation Day on Tuesday. And like the Trinamool Congress,the party used the occasion to attack its ally. Congress MP Adhir Chowdhury said: “TMC’s motive is no longer to get rid of the CPM. It is rather aiming at uprooting the Congress from the state. They used Congress’s name and money to come to power and now they have abandoned the party. If they are so confident,why don’t they decide to fight alone in the forthcoming 2014 polls?” He also said the state’s decision to set up a superspecialty hospital and medical college for the minority was votebank politics ahead of the panchayat polls. “Why should the ailing be divided in the name of religion?” he asked.
