A skeleton, which apparently looks like that of a child who was missing, was found on Thursday morning at Brooke Lane in West Port area. On Wednesday night a dog brought out a skull from the marsh behind a ground between CISF and CBD quarters. Locals alerted the police in the morning and officials of West Port police station recovered the skull and 13 bones,a vest and a pair of denim trousers from the area. While the search was on,a man,Md Heera,a resident of the CBD quarters came over and told police that his son,five-year-old Raja Hossain, had been missing since early January this year. He also identified the clothes to be his sons. The bones have been sent for a DNA test and we can only be sure once the report arrives, said V Solomon Nesakumar,DC (Port). He also said there was no prima facie evidence of any injury mark and anything further could only be said after the forensic report arrived.
