PM Narendra Modi dealing with issue of ceasefire violations with firm hand, says Rahul Sinha

BJP state president Rahul Sinha, was speaking at a rally organised by the party’s youth wing.

BJP state president Rahul Sinha, at a rally organised by the party’s youth wing Sunday, said that former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had controlled the aggression of Pakistan and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following in his footsteps by dealing with the problem of ceasefire violation with a strong hand.

“Modi is the kind of PM who can hoist an Indian flag in Lahore, if need be,” Sinha said, while attending the BJP Yuva Morcha’s rally at Shyambazar five-point crossing which was taken out as part of the countrywide observance of Kargil Vijay Diwas.

The party’s youth wing has demanded that a road be named after Captain Kanad Bhattacharya, the Kargil martyr from Bengal. Its state president Arunava Roy said they would meet deputy mayor Iqbal Ahmed in this regard on Monday.
