Hundreds lined up outside the Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan – the official residence of the Telangana Chief Minister at Somajiguda, formerly known as Pragathi Bhavan – on Friday to attend the Praja Darbar presided over by CM A Revanth Reddy. As he had announced after taking the oath, Reddy arrived to meet the people at 10 am.

With the barricades around Praja Bhavan removed, the gates to the sprawling complex were opened for the first time in nearly 10 years for people to access the chief minister. Reddy has promised to hold the Praja Darbar every week so citizens can approach him directly with their grievances.
