“I also attribute a large part of this success to my friends. I think I will throw a party for them. I would love to join the IIT. My brother is an engineer and he is a constant support to me.”

Even as he studied for his CBSE Class XII exams,Aditya was also preparing for the engineering entrance exam. “Managing both was a bit difficult. But my friends helped me a lot. If I missed a class,they would share their notes.”

She plans to ask her parents for either a camera or a new phone. “I was outside when my brother called me to tell me about the results. I did not believe him. I told him ‘Don’t pull my leg’.”

She gives credit to her parents for her success. “There was no pressure from my parents. They supported me all through.” Urmi wants to pursue Economics and later do an MBA in Finance.

“It is surreal,” says the Delhi topper for Humanities. “I want to pursue Psychology or law.” She scored 100 per cent marks in psychology. And to celebrate she went with her mother for an ice-cream. “My parents have been a great support to me always. I am very competitive and wanted to do my best.”

“I am happy. I worked hard and am glad it was fruitful.” He says he never studied according to a time table. “I would get up at 6.30 in the morning. But I never studied all night. One has to be consistent. And it is also important to have fun,a lot of fun,” he says.
