To explain why Centre’s Delhi Act was needed, BJP kicks off van campaign

The BJP Tuesday launched a mobile van campaign aimed at explaining the need for the Centre’s decision to promulgate the Act, which strengthens its hold on the capital’s bureaucracy.

BJP national vice president and Delhi in-charge Baijayant Jai Panda as well as Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva among other party leaders flagged off seven mobile vans – which will tour each of the city’s Lok Sabha constituencies over the coming 10 days – with a film explaining the need for the Centre to amend the GNCTD Act.
