When Felix Ungar gets divorced,he has no option but to live at his friend Oscar Maddison’s place. It wouldn’t have been a difficult process had Ungar not been a cleanliness freak and Maddison,a sloppy room partner. What follows is a ride full of chaos and comedy. These names may not be new to Neil Simon loyalists whose 1965 play,The Odd Couple was made into a movie and television series. Simon went on to write a female version of the play where Felix became Florence, and Oscar became Olive.

Directed by Ishwar Shunya, theatre group,Sanjha Sapna, brings this version of The Odd Couple to the city, giving it a twist by relocating its cultural setting to India.

The play will be staged on April 27 and 28 at Alliance Francaise and on May 5 at India Habitat Centre. Tickets are available at the venue or can be booked at bookmyshow.com
