AAP files complaint against Delhi L-G over Shivling fountains

AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak said, “We filed a complaint with Delhi Police in this matter. Additionally, we have also demanded action against the L-G… Since our Constitution has provisions against hurting religious sentiments, if necessary, we can also file a case against the L-G for offending religious feelings.”

The complaint has been signed by seven AAP MLAs, including Pathak.

The L-G, when asked by reporters about the complaint, said, “First of all, these are not Shivlings, but art pieces… and I would add that God inhabits every single grain in this country… Matters like this can be viewed in any way chosen and anything that is chosen to be said can be said. This depends on their understanding. I want to congratulate the artisans who made these art pieces.” Asked what he made of the complaint against him, he said “This is just their childishness.”
