Police will interrogate my ailing parents: Kejriwal

A senior officer said that more people will be questioned pertaining to the alleged assault of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, and officers will visit the CM’s house at Civil Lines on Wednesday.

The Delhi Police will “interrogate” his parents, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday. In a post on X, Kejriwal wrote: “Tomorrow, Delhi Police will come to interrogate my old and ailing parents.”

A senior officer said that more people will be questioned pertaining to the alleged assault of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, and officers will visit the CM’s house at Civil Lines on Wednesday.

“I want to ask the PM and the BJP, his parents are aged around 80-85. Kejriwal’s father can’t walk without support; mother has been discharged from hospital after a long time. Does he believe that they assaulted Maliwal…?” AAP leader Atishi said.
