On November 15, four men on two motorcycles opened fire at a petrol pump in Delhi’s Gokulpuri area, injuring the petrol pump supervisor

Two men linked to the Kala Jathedi gang were arrested on Friday for their alleged involvement in the incident where four men on two motorcycles opened fire at a petrol pump in Delhi’s Gokulpuri on November 15, injuring an employee, the Delhi Police said. Two of the four alleged shooters were arrested earlier this week.
The police identified the accused as Abhishek Kumar aka Harshu, 22, and Vikrant Kumar aka Vicky, 23, residents of Johripur Extension in Delhi. Officials said they were arrested after the police received information that the accused would visit Khichripur village.
Vicky worked as a recovery agent in Johripur and used to run a parking lot on a plot he owned till 2022, the police said. He has been booked in four cases on several charges, including attempt to murder, the police added.
“Harshu met Jathedi last year and he introduced him to a man named Johny. On November 15, Johny asked Harshu to go to the Loni bus depot and meet his associates, Ankit and Deepak. Harshu took his friend Vicky and Ankit and Deepak handed them a Splendor bike and two pistols. Ankit and Deepak had an Apache bike along with pistols and the four went to the petrol pump,” Amit Kaushik, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell/TYR), said.
Two .32-bore pistols and the Splendor bike have been recovered, the police said.
On November 15, four men on two motorcycles opened fire at a petrol pump in the Gokulpuri area at around 10.30 pm, the police said. The petrol pump supervisor sustained injuries caused by broken glass pieces after the accused fired 16 rounds of bullets at his cabin, they added.
