NEET paper solver gang busted, 2 MBBS students among 4 held
During questioning, Mandoliya and Kesarwani revealed the identity of their handlers — Prabhat Kumar and Kishor Lal — who were arrested from a hotel in Noida on Friday, said officers.

Two MBBS students were among four persons arrested by a special unit of the police (New Delhi district) for allegedly operating a gang that solved NEET exam papers this year, said officers Saturday.
According to police, the two MBBS students are from government-run medical colleges; they operated the racket along with two accomplices.
The matter came to light when two students were allegedly found with mismatched biometric data during the NEET exam at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Mehta Vidyalaya in Kasturba Gandhi Marg on May 5.
Police caught the alleged proxy students — Sumit Mandoliya, who is pursuing his MBBS course in West Bengal, and Krishan Kesarwani, a
first-year MBBS student in Uttarakhand — and arrested them, said officers.
Given the seriousness of the offence, the case was transferred to the Special Staff of New Delhi district, and a team of officials analysed technical surveillance and conducted raids across Delhi, Alwar, Jaipur and Noida to trace and arrest the accused.
During questioning, Mandoliya and Kesarwani revealed the identity of their handlers — Prabhat Kumar and Kishor Lal — who were arrested from a hotel in Noida on Friday, said officers.
The duo — Kumar, who runs a coaching centre in Patna, and Lal, a consultant for medical school admissions — allegedly identify top-performing students and pay them to manipulate the recruitment process. They would charge an amount between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh from the aspirants to provide them proxy students for the NEET exams.
