Two minors allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old scrap worker to death in northeast Delhi’s Gokulpuri area on Thursday evening, the Delhi Police said. According to the police, the incident came to light when the Gokulpuri police station received a police control room call at around 4.30 pm. “Upon reaching the spot at Gali No. 6, Bhagirathi Vihar, it was found that the victim, aged around 18 years and working as a labourer at a scrap godown, had already been taken to GTB Hospital by his brother, where he was declared brought dead by the attending doctors,” Ashish Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North East, said. According to the police, CCTV footage revealed that two people had come to the scene and stabbed the deceased. Accordingly, a case under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to murder, among other charges, and the Arms Act was registered at the Gokulpuri police station.
