Man tries to enter Parliament without valid pass,detained

Police on Thursday detained a 29-year-old man,Anil Singh,while he was trying to enter Parliament without a valid pass.

Police on Thursday detained a 29-year-old man,Anil Singh,while he was trying to enter Parliament without a valid pass. Singh was taken to Parliament Street police station,where a joint interrogation is said to be in progress.

According to police,Singh was detained when he tried to enter Parliament premises without a pass and later got into a scuffle with security personnel deployed there. “Around 1.30 pm,Singh tried to enter Parliament House Complex. An unemployed man,he hails from Ranchi,” a senior police officer said.

The officer said that Singh had left his Jharkhand home three days ago,claiming that he wanted to go to Ralegan Siddhi.

“He told his family that he was going to meet Anna Hazare. However,he came to Delhi and tried to enter Parliament. During questioning,he said that he wanted to tell the MPs his problems and request them to help him get a job,” he added.
