A 26-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his minor brother-in-law in West Delhi late on Thursday. According to the Delhi Police, the victim, a salesman by profession, was stabbed near his house in Sudama Puri. "A call was received on November 13 that a man had been stabbed in Sudama Puri. On reaching the spot, it was learnt that he had already been taken to the hospital. At the hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival," Vichitra Veer, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), said. According to the police, the victim’s father said his son got married to the woman a year ago against the wishes of her family. The father added they have had multiple arguments with the woman’s family, though no one lodged any complaint with the police. While the motive behind the stabbing is being confirmed by the Delhi Police, sources said the minor could have stabbed his brother-in-law because he did not like him. A case under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at the Moti Nagar police station, and the family of the accused has been rounded up, the police said.
