A 38-year-old man,who provides tractors on rent in his village in Amrahi in the Dwarka area,was shot at by three unidentified persons on Thursday. The police said Suresh,a bad character of the area with six cases registered against him,was shot in the shoulder and has been admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. He told the police in his statement that he was checking on his tractors when he saw three boys roaming around them on bicycles. When he approached them they tried to flee. And when he tried to follow them on his motorcycle,one of them reportedly shot at him with a country-made pistol. Police sources said three of his tractors were stolen some days ago. We are verifying his claims. He says they were probably trying to steal his tractors, a senior police officer said. A case has been registered at the Dwarka Sector-23 police station.
