A team from the Pul Prahladpur police station arrived on MB Road, where the accident had taken place, and rushed Kuldeep and Anshika to AIIMS.

A 45-year-old man died and his daughter sustained injuries after a truck rammed their two-wheeler in Southeast Delhi’s Pul Prahladpur Monday afternoon.
Police identified the deceased as Kuldeep — who went by one name — while his daughter Anshika (18) has been admitted to AIIMS in a serious condition.
A team from the Pul Prahladpur police station arrived on MB Road, where the accident had taken place, and rushed Kuldeep and Anshika to AIIMS.
At the hospital, Kuldeep — who worked as a delivery agent with a food aggregator company — was declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors. Anshika received serious injuries on both her legs, said police.
DCP (Southeast) Rajesh Deo said that while the driver of the truck fled from the spot after the accident, both the vehicles were seized by the police.
A senior officer said the accident took place when the two were returning home to Pul Prahladpur after paying fees at Anshika’s school. “The two-wheeler was making a U-turn when a truck rammed into it from behind… the driver is absconding,” said the officer.
