Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was thrown ink at while he was addressing people during an ‘odd-even thanksgiving’ event at the Chhatrasal Stadium on Sunday.
The woman, identified as Bhavna, claimed to be a member of the Punjab unit of the little-known Aam Aadmi Sena. She braved the police officers and went near Kejriwal who was standing on the dias.
The girl, who was immediately detained by the police, accused the Delhi CM of being involved in the CNG scam and claimed she had proof to back her allegations.

The Aam Aadmi Party founder has faced similar attacks in the past since he contested the Delhi Assembly elections in 2013.
In March 2014, some unidentified people threw ink at him while he was campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in Varanasi. The incident happened outside famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the city and the protesters also threw eggs at the open vehicle in which he was travelling.
A similar attack took place in November 2013 when a man, who claimed to be a supporter of anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, attacked Kejriwal with black ink during a press conference in Delhi.
Apart from this, he has also been heckled and faced physical attacks on multiple occasions in the past. During the 2014 Delhi Assembly election campaign, an auto driver slapped him in Sultanpuri area of Delhi. Just four days prior to this incident, a man approached him to shake hands in Dakshinpuri area and then punched him as he drew close.
However, this ink attack is perhaps the first public attack on Kejriwal since he became the Chief Minister of Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party members, including deputy CM Manish Sisodia, have accused Delhi Police and BJP of conspiring against AAP and Kejriwal, claiming the security arrangement at the stadium was not up to the mark.
